Filled with Joy

Right after an 'exciting' lecture that was full of laughter, i went out with my dearest Charming Charmaine. we've decided to go Funan IT Mall, in search of my laptop battery. we had dinner and chit chatted. the most interesting part if the day begin. . .

We were shopping at Challenger when we realised that they're closing. the entrances/exits are closed. we enquire about my battery and was told that it's best to buy online as they don't sell it or it's a third party (which i don't understand). we were surprised that the store closed early and thought that it might already be 9. so we decided to made payment.

We even rush to Citylink HMV in search of my CDs. i was curious and decided to check for their operating hours which is not stated on the glass doors. so we went and i bought my stuffs. on our way home in the MRT, i was checking my watch. to my disbelieve, it was 2100hrs. i can't believe it that i started to count the numbers of small needle-like numbers (my watch is not a digital watch and it is absent of numbers). it really is 2100hrs. we felt so cheated. we thought that it was 2200hrs. felt like an idiot.

I reached Downtown East at around 1500hrs. i watched the rest play bowling and slacked in the rom with them watching tv. we then started to prepare the food stuffs and fire for the BBQ to start at 1800hrs. Unfortunately, the charcoal used was bad, it didn't light up for a period of time. at 2000hrs, food that was on the grill were still uncooked or half-cooked. we concluded that it wasn't our skill of lighting the fire but the charcoal itself.it's been ages when we tried to light it up. after i finished BBQ the satays i slacked for abit and grab some sweet potato to eat.

The rest was so happy that the fire was AT LAST light up and burn beautifully. how? they borrowed some charcoal from the neighbours. it was a very late dinner for most of us. when all the food are cooked, most of us felt full due to bloatedness from drinking too much water.

Afterall, the day was spent with lots of joy. i had a lot of fun. i met with everyone except Fairuz and i met the new TL of non-food; Heng Zhi. he is a soft-spoken guy who barely talk. total opposite of me. glad and happy to meet everyone after 2months away from the company. hope to join you guys soon.
