We met the rest of the people at the meeting point and proceed with the tour non-stop only for toilet breaks and prayers time. i'm not used to sitting in a bus for more than an hour. i feel soo uncomfortable but after all when it was about 2100hrs, the tour guide switch on a movie for us all to watch. and

horror movie.

What did i do? hahahaha. straight away i put on my earpiece and blast my ears with all the songs in my phone. i tried my best to sleep but i keep dozing on and off. what can i do? i just tried my best to ignore all the noises made from that tv. it was sooo scary when you watch horror movie at night. and you should know very well how the highways are in Malaysia. so dark and quiet.

We reached Padang Besar at 0830hrs. Most of the shops were not open for business yet and since the shoppping area were not open for business, so did the toileet. everyone were waiting to use the toilet. to wash their faces and obviously do their businesses. My mum, sis and i did a small tour around while my aunt wait for the shops to open. at 0945hrs then the shops start to open for business and my mum were syaing things like, in Singapore early in the morning people are already awake and getting ready for work or school and here. . . . It nice to shop there despite being a city girl. Lots of nice stuffs can be found there. it almost resembles Bugis Streets.

Before we set off for the hotel [Bayview Hotel Georgetown Penang - M'sia] at 1200hrs, we had lunch. we also made a stop for toilet breaks in between the journey. Due to some traffic and road blocks due to Cub Prix, we reached the hotel later than expected. at 1600hrs, we reached the hotel and were given 4hours to get ready for dinner. what i did 1st was obviously to shower. it's been a day since i showered. if i'm still in NPCC i don't mind not showering as it is a camp. but now i'm on a vacation. my room had a nice view of the sea. :)

At 2000hrs, we met at the lobby and went for dinner. I'm not sure what's the place is called. But it has a wide variety of food. lots and lots of shops. Besides eating prawn noodles, i ate Pasembur. It is similar to the Indian Rojak here. the only differences were the choices of food and its gravy.

Did i tell you i made friends with cute little boys and girl. when we were on our way back to the hotel from Padang Besar, this cute 5-years old boy named Haziq or he is called as Abang. chatted with me. and i was taken aback when he asked me "kakak, who are you going to marry?". Gosh! i'm wondering what goes around in his mind. all the way to the hotel, he asked me this and chatted with me.mostly keep calling kakak. when i think back, it was hilarious. i also get to know Kimi his little cousin who is 3-years old. both had the thoughts of . . . .and Sheera the cute girl whose age is 2-years old. she's sooo shy.

Set off at 0900hrs and made our way to Bukit Bendera to get tickets for the train ride up. Since we missed the 1st ticket, we had to take at 1400hrs. and we had alot of time to kill. we went to Kek Lok Shi Temple and shop for abit. we also went to P.Ramlee house. the house he grew up in. the house was really the old kind and abit small to me. i had chendol there while waiting for the bus to pick us all to the next destination. the chendol was nice but its weird as they add in abit of glutinous rice in it. made it more filling for me.

We had light lunch at Bukit Ferringhi. the laksa was nice. and i also ate fresh grilled corn. Yummy! we went for our train ride up. once we reached the top which is a few hundreds above sea level. which was very high to me. though i'm scared of heights, taking the ride up was okay only thing that made me mad was that the disadvantage of being S-H-O-R-T! i was squeezed in like sandwich and i couldn't take pictures of the view as i can't even see the surrounding around me. i only see human heads.

Once we reached the top, we made our way around the place and took pictures with the "train" and we asked Haziq and Kimi to join us. hahaha. had ice kachang ABC Special, it is a normal ice kachang with a scoop of ice-cream. After spending some time at the top, we went down and made our way to Plaza Gurney, a shopping mall that is huge. almost as huge as Vivo. However, we were given ONLY 2 hours to shop. shortage of time, my family couldn't find any nice place selling rice so we had dinner at A&W. I ate coney Dog Chicken. it was simple and filling. After the shopping trip, we went back to the hotel to rest for abit. Accompanied mum and aunt to a 10-minutes walk to Sup Hameed as my aunt and mum needs to eat rice.

We reported at 0900hrs and check out of the hotel. we made our way to a nearby "market" which sells pickled fruits and made our way back home. It was overall a happy holiday but sad to say will miss the kids. it was a nice experience to have these kids entertaining my ride home. and guess what, Haziq already made me feel like i'm taken. Haziq said that "Kimi will marry this kakak and i will marry that kakak(my sis)." my sis and i are beginning to wonder what kids nowadays have in their mind.

This time around, my granny followed us. It was a one-day trip to Umbai to eat grilled fish. Yum! We went for breakfast at Gelang Patah first as it was still early in the morning. this trip wasn't as fun as the previous. people were not punctual and they dirtied the bus by spilling their sweet drinks in the bus. it was already stated no sweet drinks only mineral water and it's a must to keep the bus clean. all of these little things, is it hard to do. i don't mind about the punctuality that much as you tend to take more time when going shopping. but about cleanliness, is it hard to treat the bus just like your own home?

It took us about 3 hours to reach Melaka. and again they SWITCHED ON movies for us. HORROR!!! as i was sitting right at the front and blasting my ears off while reading i can't help it but to watch. DAMN YOU! i watched and i, myself have to deal with the consequences. scare myself for nothing! Once we reached Melaka, we had lunch and shopped at this place which i'm unaware of the name but it was directly opposite the Samudera Museum. Followed by a shopping trip at Dataran Pahlawan megamall. We didn't shop at the opposite mall which is Mahkota Parade due to insufficient time and i've already get bored of shopping. :( after the shopping trip, we went to Umbai to have grilled seafood or whatever kind of cooking you want for your seafood. YUM! YUM! YUM! we only manage to be on the road at 2015hrs adn only to reached Singapore at midnight. i realised that the road in M'sia is totally dark only depending on the cars light and not only that, some roads do have lights for like every 5m. but once there isn't any light, the whole place will be dark. it's scary as i started imagining things. damn me for watching the movie.
