Yesterday was a HIP HIP HOORAY DAY!!!
I had a lot of fun going out for group/clique outing. It was a 2-in-1 thing; whereby you get to enjoy yourself as well as doing your project research. right after school around 1300hrs we head down to Neo Tiew Road by bus. what we didn't expect was the journey in to the 1st farm we're visiting was quite a walk from the bus stop. after spending some time at the farm we moved on to the next farm.
Slowly we walked along the stretched of road. we saw 51 Neo Tiew Road and suddenly 152 Neo Tiew Road. OH OUH! where's 100 Neo Tiew Road then? and sooo Raymond flag for any passing vehicle. it is a truck. after asking him where it is, he offer to drive us there. can you imagine, we hitched a ride from a total stranger!!! but he is nice. rarely you find a Singaporean taht helps each other.
After reaching the destination, we thanked him for his kindness and we went in and have a small tour of the farm. sorry to say though, this farm is a thousand time better than the 1st farm we went. At Bollywood Veggies, we did get to interact with the owner and get some answers to our project work. after spending some time relaxing at its cafe, and feeling so 'kampung-like' it's time to head home. Woon Ching had to rush back to school and so we walk slowly to the bus stop. half way through, Raymond flag for a truck again, and again we hitched a ride to the nearest bus stop. THIS IS SOOO MY 1ST TIME HITCHING RIDE FROM TOTAL STRANGER. felt sooo free!
After reaching Choa Chu Kang MRT station, both Raymond and Woon Ching took off and the 3 of us proceed to go for a little shopping. hehehe. window shop i mean. after browsing through the shops we head off to West Coast Plaza for Fiza to collect something before going to work. Both me and Charmaine had our dinner at Holland V Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf where Fiza is working. we chit chatted and decided to took off at 2200hrs just in case our parents will call.
The ambience of the outlet matching with the rain was sooo perfect for me. it's so cosy and felt so peace. if only i can just relax and read some of my favourite books, it'll be just heaven for me. i really feels like going to Sembawang Park after reading Charmaine's blog. the park looks sooo quiet and peaceful. a perfect palce to enjoy the nature with the sound of wind blowing pass and the waves of a small stretch of sea.
EMBARRASSING MOMENT-don't laugh to much at me hor!
When both me and Charmaine took off at 22oohrs, we said goodbye to Fiza and asked for direction to the nearest bus stop. well, both of us had been tired after the walks and kinda sleepy. reasons i guess or was it just blank soul roaming around Holland V with no common sense. anyway here comes the embarrasing moment. we saw bus service no. 106 and i flagged for it. and i was wondering why the bus didn't stop adn i got a funny look from the driver. i'm not sure what made us realise, but we got to know that it was a TAXI STANDafter seeing this blue sign about 2 taxis at a time. it was sooo STUPID AND PLAIN DUMB on my side. how can we not notice that it was a taxi stand instead of a bus syop. and none i say NONE of the people at the taxi stand queueing for taxi had the initiative in telling us not to the cut the queue. i bet if thy did that we would have notice that it was a taxi stand instead. the stand are completed with advert board and 'benches'. THIS IS WHAT I CALL MYSELF AN IDIOTIC BLUR SINGAPOREAN. what a fool i am.
okay fine you can laugh at me as much as you want at me. just don't remind me of this moment.
